Hoard Sweet Hoard
Dig a dungeon, pile up gold, and hold the line when the shining heroes come for it.
In development
A 3D dungeon-defense game for phones and PC, built at Castle Frey. You dig tunnels under a mountain, keep a crew of grumpy minions fed and paid, and set doors and traps so the heroes take the long way round. The gold you hoard pays the wages, but it also draws thieves and brings the next raid sooner, so every minute is a choice between spending and stashing. It's dark fantasy with a wink, and the nastier business always happens off-screen.
The heart of it is what we call the gold triangle: the gold in your Hoard pays your minions on payday, burns the fuse on the next raid, and is exactly what the thieves came for. More gold means a happier army, and a shorter wait for trouble.
Highlights
- One dungeon for the whole campaign, and each level digs a floor deeper
- Doors are the maze, with one clear rule for how long heroes take to smash through
